I doesn't matter to me. As long as the sponsor url is visible in the mouseover, I'm happy. Back in the day people would use stuff like "Click Here for XXX" or something smilier in the mouseover. As long as you're not doing that, you should be fine. I submit a lot of free sites and always use mouseovers on sponsor url's. I do include the http://www. though.

I used to use mouseovers on and off.
I completely killed their use when IE7 became the default browser for WinXP, because it doesn't display mouseover codes, as FireFox won't in the default set-up. I didn't notice any difference in ctr. |
