What you want to keep in mind is that different niches get the most traffic from different sites. I do story sites and get similar traffic from the big guys as well as some of the smaller sites. When i do lesbian sites, different link lists give me a majority of the traffic.

I also did an amateur site and noticed that the majority of traffic to that site came from what might be considered a smaller link list even though it's been around forever.

I was submitting to 85 link lists and after checking stats found that about 95-98% of my sales came from only two recip groupings. I was going to only submit to those two but after posting here and getting some feedback I decided to "spread the love around" and submit to the link lists that have a presence here at GG&J. (I have 2-3 that don't post here much) I came up with 45 that I had been submitting to already and getting listed. My recip tables have 3 rows and 3 columns so I have 9 recips/table. I make a site and 4 mirrors which works out fine for me.
