do you think so? I was unsure about turning my blog into a splog, it kind of felt like selling out, but I felt guilty about not updating it so I moved it to a subfolder and put something else on the index...it's funny you mention it tho, because my next project is bringing it back, I miss it hehe

I had the same feeling, but then I came to my senses. The only reason I'm in this business is to make money. My blogs weren't doing that. After I converted my 3 "realest" blogs into rss fed splogs they're still not making money, but at least I'm not wasting my time not making that money.

PonyGirl your a perfect example of what I'm talking about, if you had left it in place with a feed or two while you were "bloged out" the search engine bots would have continued to crawl the site and bringing it back to a more personalized blog would have been a piece of cake

yep, that's exactly what I should have done. I got a little burnt out & just didn't think it through. oh well, I tend to learn everything the hard way anyways
