I feel like I have a knife stuck in my chest. Fuck having a cracked rib hurts.
Yesterday I got dressed to go to the gym and then my doorbell rang. Never made it to the gym or got any work done due to drop by friends. Going to try to do today what I had planned on doing yesterday. Guess I should get out of bed... |

Mornin' y'all,
Last day of 80° temps for awhile. We're supposed to have a cold front move in overnight, with forecast highs in the mid-50's into next week. The natives are gonna be bundled up like eskimos. ![]() I hate drop by guests. I like having friends/family stop by, but have the courtesy to call and give me at least 30 minutes warning. I recall one time when the wife's sister and two boys dropped by without warning, and we were in the middle of doin' the nasty on the living room rug. The wife jumps up and runs for the bedroom, well not really a run as she was wearing six inch stiletto heel boots. I toss on a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt, throw the adult accessories into the bedroom, and go answer the front door. ![]() |

Doesn't really bother me but I do prefer a phone call so that I can be at least somewhat decent when I open the door. I do get a lot of drop by guests.

That'll teach you to leave your sister unattended.....

Hell - I don't care as long as they can make themselves at home.
In fact, drop by now and you can make me breakfast - I have work to do. |

I seem to crack a rib or ribs every couple of years, it's real bad when the crack is close to your back, then you can barely walk for a week.
