I went dancing a lot.
My biggest goal upon entering the army was to end up in Germany as my recruiter has promised. Apparently, in recruiter speak, Germany = Texas. I never really asked the army why I was being trained in all that silly shooting stuff and what-not. I spent most of time thinking about drinking and dancing and getting rejected by hot civilians.

Not sure on the relation to Texas as i don't think germans marry their cousins. lol

You'd of definately woken up to a few hangovers though, not to mention alot of hairy german women.

I knew full well what i'd be doing and my first posting was Belfast, i certainly wouldn't of taken in what a recruiter told me though.

And I asked for Texas and got Germany - 13 years
