Dumb questions...where are the free sites on tommys-bookmarks.com? I only see galleries.

Tommy lists both sites and galleries but he gets probably 10X more galleries submitted so he lists more galleries. And Tommy makes galleries for himself too and lists them, not sites.

Would that make sense that his site would give more visits but worse as far as conversions go?

One of the most time consuming parts of this biz is learning how to convert various sites traffic. Unless you prefer to be lucky. The people that try to be lucky don't last long.

Converting gallery traffic takes a lot of practice. I would stick to your free sites for a while and learn how to sell them. If you go straight into Tommys without learning to sell galleries you will burn a lot of BW.

tommys sents lots of traffic compared to other linklists but i wouldn't concern about BW.
tommys sent about 4-5k hits to my freesite, worldsex sent about 130k hits to my gallery.

I am wondering about this as well.
Mostly it is sponsorhosted galleries with no recipes and less then the 20 pics he likes.
These galleries might be payments to the moderators?
Its hard to find a freesite with the "new"stamp on it.
Has anybody gotten listed at Tommy lately?
Is is still a linklist???

I don't think it's good idea to submit to this linklist because he doesn't list every free site and the quality of traffic isn't very good..

Tommy lists A LOT of his own stuff! It's his site. To see webmaster submitted galleries or sites, go down about 15-20 links per category.

Yanook. He sends about 20 times the traffic of the small link lists. It is a lot of traded traffic yes but still signups will come from it. If you get 1 out of 5 sites listed then you'll see ton more traffic as being listed everyday on a smaller site.

Yep, seems like you can still get listed at Tommy's, my last 3 submits went through fine, traffic from there is good IMHO, just don't use a sponsor that has been done to death, a good niche site will bring you sign-ups, find the market and sell it

I'll second all of that. Tommy lists pretty much all the sites I submit within a couple of days, and I'd say he probably sends as much or more traffic than any other link list. I build primarily mature and bbw sites, so I can only speak for the "fetish" page on his LL--don't know if it's different for the others. And I spend the time to try and make my sites look good, look for content that's not saturating the web already, and spend some time just about every day looking for sponsors with one (or just a few) niche specific sites that I've not seen promoted everywhere. You can convert just about any kind of moderately filtered traffic if what you're promoting is somewhat unique and niche specific enough, imho.

I love Tommy's traffic and do very well with it. He is one of my top referrals each month. His list is unique in that he lists free sites and galleries. He also has some kind of rotating database and sometimes I will see listings come back to life.

Okay people.
Thanks for the great input.
I think I will concentrate on Tommy and analyse the stuff there for a whole day and then build a gallery with 20 pics instead of a freesite.
I geuss he wants the same kind of quality as RR. (right?)

So I will only be able to tell the amount of visitors.

His traffic is good, few days ago had two sites listed and made 8 sales from those two sites in the first day
