well... okay, although if you're probably into building sites you can be proud of you're probably in the wrong business I was rather referring to the financial aspect when I asked if it wasn't worth it anymore.

Financially I do ok with the splogs I've got. I just never wanted to get into mass production and, in my personal opinion, the only way your going to be successful with them is through mass production. There are people out there pumping out splogs as fast as you can build a free-site.

It's been my experience that I can do just as well, if not better, with hand written blogs and be able to point to the site and feel good saying it's mine.

My feelings 100% - except I think I can throw a splog together faster than a FS.

This is one I've had on the back burner for quite some time - your post got me off my ass to do something with it.

Who says you can't make good off sites your proud of? Think that's usually one of the biggest reasons some sites are so big in the first place.
