-: FS Auto Submitter :- Pros and Cons?

Once again here I am explaining the thread.

When I wrote it, I did not ask anyone, to side track. The question was what are the Pros and Cons of Auto Submitters.

Someone raised a hair because it was a "touchy issue" and claimed I know how to piss people off. From there this thread went into a spiral - else where away from it's intended scope.

Then, I come along and see something, so I toyed with it, knowing what the response would be. What I wanted to see was who would be the first to defend it. Then get a good laugh out of it - I am still laughing.

Not that it really mattered. From what has developed here is that large LL's don't want the hassle of Auto Submits. And as I also discovered that other smaller LL's welcome them - one for the sake of increasing content.

Next I am being told I am alienating people, albeit, cause I have raised an issue that is "Taboo" in this neck of the woods. And I'll repeat myself about this - if I alienate anyone cause I wanted to know people's opinion, while searching for some associates to join in a program with me, well there is nothing I can do about it.

So, as I stated I did not intend for this to develop into some great debate - although it did, kind of. As I titled it "Pros and Cons" I guess I asked for it.

Something like open mouth insert foot. LOL But this was not what I was looking for. There are a lot of good points against it and not many for it. And like anyone else, I would not want to waste my time developing anything if it is not worth it and will not produce a beneficial, as well as, lucrative return.

There are some good points well taken, chances are, if I can not raise support for the script in another way, then it will probably take a back burner - to other projects of mine. Maybe these projects will be better welcomed.

Now to finalize this and probably close this thread, as with any thread that is started, they can take turns away from their subject matter, as this one mostly did. To many it served no useful purpose - too some well maybe they can go away with somthing good from it - as for me, I certainly do not want anyone P.O.'d at me for bringing up a touchy subject and do not want to alienate anyone.

I have many good and solid relationships with several of you here. Some for many years. As always I hope these relationships will grow and flourish. And truthfully, I will never forget those of you who gave me my start and owe many, many thanks too. Thank You!

For those of you who do not know me - if you wish to judge me by this thread - for good or bad - it is okay with me. There is nothing I could do or would do to change that. We'll either part ways or get together and try to make some serious loot together.
