One comment I can make on your recip table -- keep it balanced. If you have a site name and category link for one, do it for all. Use the title tag to fill in that extra text. This way, if someone hovers over the link, they see the text, but your table looks clean. I would also link the gallery text under your pictures.
Other than that, it really does look great. You have been doing a lot of homework!

That looks great! For your first site,you sure build nice and clean!
I'm a big fan of the KISS (keep it short and simple) rule.
