Same here, I've looked at B2 and I liked it but I just don't want to put the time into learning another way to do the things I'm doing with WordPress already. I'm working on a new blog network and I wish there was a better tool. WordPress MU is really for multi-users, which isn't my goal, and B2 seems to look at things that way too. (Blogs Organizer may be better suited for what I'm looking to do, but I'm waiting to see what the promised upgrade includes before committing to that path on my project.)
Maybe once I know more about B2 I may consider using it, but right now the learning curve is keeping me away. .

I like Blog Organizer, I used it for a project for someone else. I think the best thing about it is anyone can make a template for it or if you want you can use Wordpress Themes as well. So, in that regard it's a real time saver, seems lighter load wise then Wordpress, but it's missing some bells and whistles. Granted, WP isn't perfect, but at least you have people writing plugins for those missing components.

I'm a big fan of BO as well but I won't use it until it has a better tagging system. I won't build a blog without tags and I'll be damned if I'm going to tag technorati or delicious.

I actually like b2evolution so much I am using it not just as a multidomain blog script, but also as a paysite CMS. I found helpful coders on their support forum that assist me in implementing features that I like to have. I am really happy with b2evo. Hope you guys have a deeper look. It's really worth looking into.
