.mpg's got changed to .wmv
I downloaded some .wmv movies the other day and now every movie on my computer that was.mpg is now changed to .wmv. How did this happen??

Are you sure Windows Media Player didn't just reassociate the icon for .mpg with .wmv? If you look in File Explorer, with extensions turned on, they should still be .mpg. I can't imagine the time it would take for some program to reconvert all of your vids.

Personally I'm guessing that Sparky is correct and they just have been given the wrong file extension.
