Amazon and Facebook both think I'm gay.
Amazon started advertising books to me about "being a gay male" after I typed in Love and War accidentally in the search box (I was looking for War and Peace.) I also ordered a DVD season of a popular woman's television show for a friend so he could give to his wife for Christmas... I had to start ordering manly action movies and books to set Amazon "straight." For weeks Facebook was advertising "sexy gay singles" to me on my profile complete with banner adverts of shirtless muscular males hugging each other. I suspect my taste is Rufus Wainwright music tripped the gay flag on my profile in that case.
