I think there's a damn cleaning bug going around. For no good reason I pulled the stove apart last night and cleaned every element, drip pan and surface. Really, I mean no reason at all. Turned out to have nothing to do with the update.

A few days ago I used a TechTool CD in my machine to fix another Mac that was in firewire target mode connected to my laptop and it seems that the TechTool CD installed a protection startup item that wasn't compatible with 10.5. This was the first time that I had rebooted my laptop since then so it wasn't until now that this issue showed up.

It wasn't until I had cloned over just about every piece of the OS from another laptop one at a time to see if it would boot each time that I finally started looking in the root library for what was causing the issue and noticed the new startup item in there.

I'm now posting from my main laptop again and all is well.

Morning all

its 5:08 afternoon here (afternoon sounds stupid for me) so let me say , late midday

Spent most of my day with appointments, like dentist and school and now i a making chicken and tomato soup for diner and checking again google for my problem with skype, i still cant use the mike thing and it does work we have checked at a friend house.
So i think i am gonna jump into the chatroom and bugger others with my damn problem

we are going to try to go to the movies this afternoon... it's been a very long time.

We might even qualify for the guiness book of records having had three ceremonies in three countries in one year. Who knows, I may look into it one day

When emmy and I started out on this crazy quest we didn't realize just how much interest everyone would take in it but just so you know, the wedding we had with all of you at Greenies was the one we enjoyed the most.
