And how do I get those crop dimensions on the image so I can drag it around...when I select front image, my dimensions change...when I click and drag the crop tool on the image, the top tool bar changes...

Use the crop tool to drag out your desired size over the image - this is all kept in ratio with the setting you entered (250 x 250).

So if you make the square bigger or smaller - it is still still crops at 250 x 250.

When you drag out your shape with the crop tool - it should partially mask out the back ground only leaving visible the area which you will be left with.

You can click and drag anywhere inside the unmasked area to drag it around you image...

I'm pretty shit at explaining things - so I hope you understand
