That's fine for galleries you're going to submit, but 800 wide is quite outdated for TGP's these days. It leaves way too much real estate unutilized.

What would you consider a good width Toby , I am busy setting up a fake TGP and am considering this very issue?

I build my sites for 1024 width, allowing for scrollbar and a little margin. 980 is a good target width, but you can push that a little if needed to get things to fit.

My stats show that less than 5% are using resolutions under 1024 wide.
