Good morning world

Big rainstorm here this morning, plenty of lightning and thunder. Knocked out the power and cable for awhile but that's all working now. From what my weather widget shows, it looks like a lot more rain is on the way today. No plans to go anywhere today so the rain will be nice (unless the wind picks up and starts hurling pieces of broken bird feeders at me).

Bad new is that after 10 days of no pain at all, the abdominal pains returned around 8am this morning. Took a pain pill about half an hour later and I feel it starting to work now. I'm hoping to stay ahead of the pain curve this time and never let it get above maybe a 4 or 5 on the 1-10 scale so I can keep working today.

Fonz - hope the AC/DC show actually happened and was a good one.

That was something I did too, it just felt like something to try. Actually I added more fruits and veggies to my diet and I'm drinking lots of lemonade and cranapple juice too. But eventually I went back to drinking coffee in the mornings as usual 'cause I wasn't as awake as I wanted to be and the lack of caffeine was giving me headaches, which isn't how I wanted to start the day.

Wishing everyone a day where the end of your pain is just a pill away (unless of course you like pain and would prefer a pill that enhances it).

I'm still in a bit of discomfort as well. Trying to decide if I want to spend even more money on deductibles plus all the unpleasantries of being poked and prodded. Heating pad seems to be doing wonders so probably going to see how I feel tomorrow before making any decisions.

I think maybe I should make some espresso as I'm sitting here for the second day in a big T-shirt with no motivation to get dressed and go buy a bird feeder or get anything else done.
