You shouldnt have to pay for his treatment if he is broke the state will cover it, dont get sucked into paying 25k most likley he is going to leave or fail its just the odds, it takes lots of times for people to goto rehab usually so see what works in your state they usually pay unless he is rich then he should pay.

My lady's brother is having more issues. I'm having to pay for methadone and room at some shit box. (which he might get kicked out from for smoking pot. There goes hundreds of dollars.) Instead I'm most likely best case going to tucson for a day or so to handle her brother and then to palm springs for just a night.

Worst case I'm just in Tucson for a couple days dealing with the brother. Ugh. So tough dealing with a heroin addict that's just this far gone. Possibly sinking 25k+ into a treatment for him is just making my head want to explode. I know it's the right thing to do and I'm trying to be caring and understanding. It's just really starting to wear on me. It takes everything I have not to want to say fuck it and start chewing him out about this shit. Ugh.

The state is picking it up at this point. The place is complete shit hole. I'm hoping he can change over to this other program where he will have a different option.

He already has failed a couple times and gone to jail twice. He tried killing himself a month ago. Failed cause heroin dealer doesn't give that large of a free hit. He gives enough in hopes he gets hooked back again. He at least picked up his phone and I was able to talk him back to this one hospital. So now he is back in a new treatment place.

Most likely he won't want to even go to any other place. He seems to know what he needs. Best case he gets on this other free state insurance that this other rehab/treatment center is on. Or he does this one until the end. He would need to open up and admit he is ready for some real treatment. If he isn't going to WANT to do it. There is no way money is going out. ugh. Just don't want to not try and be there and help and have to live with knowing I didn't try. So Friday the driving will start.
