Happy 5th of July 2012 for all that survived the 4th of July

Good morning world

Only the usual amount of junk food yesterday, balanced with a nice ribeye steak, green beans, red potatoes and a lettuce salad. Only saw a couple of people, no dogs at all, but a total of four cats. No pool, big or small, no way I'd get in other people's bath/toilet water anyway.

Hot and humid enough to keep sane people inside, so I had no interest in going out to rub shoulders (or any other body part) with the visitors who traveled many miles to try to enjoy what's here every day for me.

Just another working day here today.

Guess I should have mentioned that we left early due to the intense heat and humidity and our refusal to get into the pool full of dog hair, floating bits of food, body oil, sweat and all the other things best left unimagined.
