It looks like the problem may be that you have too much RAM.

Thanks. That is annoying, because I spent more on the memory than on the computer (computer cost £25 memory cost £37). If I had known this in advance I not only would not have this problem, I would also have saved money!
Thanks, but the reason I bought the computer was to run a few Windows 98 programs that won't run on later versions of Windows. I cannot see them running on a Linux OS! (Although you are correct in that I do need a Linux box, but only for "the fun of it" not for serious work as all the software I use is Windows software.) |
