Whatever you did worked. Submission did go through with no problem this time.
Not sure if this will help you track down what's going on, but one thing was different. Usually the new submission appears immediately on the category page and on the tag pages. This time it appeared on the category page but not on any of the tag pages. Maybe those don't get rebuilt at the same time as the category pages for some reason? Anyway, nice job figuring out that fix.
