Never be ashamed of your beer. I have had a friend since schooldays, who loves a beer that I considered to taste like diluted cat's piss. It was not until we were both in our late 40s that I discovered this (when I went drinking with him and his work buddies). For decades, whenever we went drinking together, he had been drinking beer that he did not like so much for fear I would take the piss out of him. Asshole. He was probably right about me - but surely it is worth a bit of a joshing to be able to drink the beer you like!
Incidentally, Bud Light is not beer, it is more a sort of dirty tap water.
