"To Do" lists are great. You start on one sheet of paper and write all the things you need to do. Then you look at it and mentally arrange them in order. Next you get a clean sheet of paper, and re-write the list in order of importance, most urgent at the top. After that you stick the piece of paper on your desk where you can see it, and can meticulously work through the list in order.

After doing all this you feel as though you have achieved something. So you fuck off and do something fun (writing the list was enough work for today) and you never even look at the list again!

But at least you achieved one thing. You wrote the list in the first place.
