Is that purple loosestrife? No, can't be, it's not tall enough. No, in a yard that size, if it doesn't bother the property owner and it isn't a threat to neighboring properties I wouldn't have an issue with it. Looks a hell of a lot nicer than a yard chock full of dandelions and thistles.

Gasoline works great for between patio block sections, driveway lockstones, etc. As long as you don't mind the smell and your conscience doesn't bother you. Luckily my hatred of weeds trumps nearly everything.
