Was told that so far, in London alone, the fire brigade has been called out over a hundred times to rescue people from flooding. What is wrong with these people? The water starts rising and you get out of there! You don't say "I'll just wait here until it gets deep enough to drown in, then hope someone calls the emergency services to rescue me!
