Sunday September 6th (aka I Feel Terrible)

Just got back from ether Jazz Fest. Storms started moving in just as we left but now it's storming again.

Went to a stormy, but enjoyable, pool party yesterday. I brought 10 pounds of dry ice and threw pieces in the pool which freaked out a few of the girls. But once they realized that it was going to burn them, kill them or cause the end of the world we had fun with it. Best part was putting a bunch in one of of a pool noodle and then putting that end deep under water which causes water and fog to bubble out of the end above water.

Got up late, did a bit of work on the computer, then spent the rest of the day on housework.

Twice had to try communicating with the idiot the landlord hired to try and get him through the upcoming inspection. How the hell do you work in a country where you cannot understand the language at all? Two simple things. First I asked him where he had left the stepladder as I needed to use it. Later he asked me if I could refill his water bottle for him. Both simple questions, but it took ages to get either one worked out!
