The phone company charges me this much since the line at my house is a business line. I only have one line at my house, down from the six I had at one time. Once my ADSL is off this line I may move the number to my cell phone and just put in a basic private land line at my house which will save me close to 100 buck each month. I'm really sick of the phone company charging me close to 200 bucks each month for a phone line and ADSL because they say I'm doing business on it. The truth is that all my business these days is done using my cell phone and even when I'm home I often use my cell phone.

It isn't even so much the money as it is I feel like I'm getting fucked up the poop shoot without a condom each moth when I send the phone company almost 200 bucks for a basic phone line and basic ADSL service.

Actually about the only reason I even have a land line anymore is my house alarm needs it and for internet access, but soon I will not need it for internet access anymore.

Once I switched over to a cable modem if I don't like it I can get earthlink.net ADSL service for $45 per month. I just can't switched to another ADSL service while having bellsouth ADSL service without losing my ADSL service for up to two weeks.
