Luckily we are on the opposite side of the island. So far so good.

Japan has had some bad days since new years. The thousands of aftershocks after the earthquakes and the tsunamis and then the JASD air crash.

The scariest incident for us persoannly came at the time it was happening. We were in a shrine about to pray for the new year. Suddenly a thousand phone alerts went off to warn about something. It can be natural disasters or north korea going nutso again. The alerts are loud and scary as fuck and make you think the world is coming to an end.
Like the alert you hear when a haylon system is activated.

Hope you all are well and doing better than us.

If anyone is in the mood to donate a little the Japanese Red Cross is a great choice.
