No basements is actually one reason I don't like FL. My father in law lives about 45 minutes from your place (Boca), but we refuse to visit him there - he has to fly up here to see the Grand Kids.
Would actually love to see a Daytona Race, if was held in North Carolina!

(though it's taken me 3 city council meetings to build a garage, on an existing slab, and signatures of 10 neighbors - but tabled for 60 days for anyone to object - All this in a town of 860 people - LOL)
