slow months

There are always different factors that may cause programs to do as well during the summer as the rest of the year. Many are resigned to just ride it out. The smart ones, do whatever they can to entice new webmasters. That's why you see more and more programs having contests, opening new sites and buying up advertising just before and during the summer months.

Programs that say, "no summer slowdown here" are either doing what I described above or simply lying.
