Some scripts, like the one that I use, grabs and crops one of your pics at random and stores this on my server for use as the preview.
Some of the other scripts after you hit submit you get a page where first you pick a pic and then you crop it and then the resulting file is stored on their server. Most are like what Tommy said where you upload the correct size pic in the browser to their server. |
