I was in bed and my ex called me and told me to turn on the tv. I did and watched for a moment as the reporter was talking about the terrible "accident" of the first plane. Then the second plane came into view and my heart stopped for a second and I realized that this was not an accident. I spent the rest of the day in a daze, I worked in a mental health hospital for children then and when I went to work that afternoon it was so tough to deal with my own emotions as well as those kids'. They were so scared and being locked away from their families made it worse. Being there for them really helped me though.
