Morning from the land of where people don't show up.

Waiting all day for the tree people yesterday. Called them when it started getting late in the afternoon and was told that they would be coming by for sure but they never showed up.

Then the GC e-mails me the estimate a insane price on one of the bathrooms. 19,000 for a new toilet, vanity, and shower in the guest room. Actually he wasn't too bad on the kitchen as I'm moving a door in a concrete wall and tearing out two other walls. He also wasn't too bad on redoing my master bedroom, closet and bath which was what was actually destroyed in the storm. Now that I have a better idea what I'm looking at I'm going to get a few more quotes and maybe even end up with more then one contractor doing the work. Still trying to get roofers here as well.

After buying CAD software I decided to instead pick up some drawing tools and paper and draw my house layout the old fashioned way. lol
