How do you know he wasnt? I think paysite owners(not only me, Im talking about it with many others) knows the most about their own sales, refunds and chargebacks.

no, but he told 1:500 is good, but it actually isnt. 1:500 on join page uniques with a sponsor who has cheap trials is bad.

only thing what matters is the quality of the content and marketing, not if you can accept 10% of transactions more or less. I wouldnt use a cascading billing sponsor with his own merchant account, just because I would get 10-15% more sales. I will use a sponsor with a good site, where I can get 100-300% more sales.
