Yeah... I use the duplicate check as well.
With the recip link one, I have it set up so that special sites which are not required to have a reciprocal link won't get deleted when I later check to make sure they haven't been removed. It's also great because it checks for the reciprocal link at the time of submission, so it has to be coded into the submitters page before they ever submit it.
