I look throw my LL base and notice that more and more link list have "blind" links to free sites. For example "http://onlybestsex.com/cgi-bin/links/go.cgi?ID=5856". Is it ok? |

hi John what gave you the idea that this is "blind" links ?
![]() its a perfectly normal link that his all purpose is to count outgoing traffic to links a blind link would look like this http://onlybestsex.com/cgi-bin/links/go.cgi?ID=random |

That is not a blind link. It is a script that uses a cgi script to link to the sites.

I'm not sure why a few link lists use scripts like that instead of hardlinking their listings, but as Ramster said, it's not blind. In order for a URL to blind, it would have to take the surfer to something other than the expected URL during mouseover, such as what a CJ script does.

Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless
|
Would it be possible that some LLīs would use this kind of linking to not leak their PR out to the freesites they list ?
I am sure that I heard you could make a "Google Do Not Follow This Link" option... I really donīt know if it is possible though ! |

NO! Im not a female - but being a dragon, I do eat them.
|
Thats very normal linking for a bunch of different linklist software packages - and Yes - Google does follow them with no problem - and yes PR does get transferred through those links

What about these types:
http://www.site.com/out.php?perm=dom...op2_domain.com And what is the best way to put a link on your site that search engines won't recognise?

What I'm actually wanting to do is interlink some of my sites but dont want the SEs to pick up this interlinking so they dont pick up the sites are part of my clique.
Would the "no follow" tag be enough to fool them or not?
