Morning!!
Woohooo.. today is my last swap day for 2 weeks.. Yipee.. after today i don't have to leave my house until like 10pm on 7/10.. WOOT.. Actually i only wish that was true. We have tickets to see the new beatles cirque de soile at the Mirage on Tuesday night then I guess we'll hang around for the fireworks. Thank goddess there is a back entrance to all the strip hotels and i never have to actually drive on the strip.  And in news of retribution.. appparently the right winged christians in congress are taking exception to a PG rating on a faith based movie. MPAA said it's because pregnancy is discussed but they feel it's because of the religious content. Article here File that under: They can't have it both ways.  Have a good one.. and drive safely if you have to hit the road for anything. |

Oh joy. I get to go the local Six Flags today. Yay. Honesty, nothing will make an amusement park less amusing that bringing your kids. Luckily, I get to ditch out early and watch my father's shop for the afternoon.
I made the mistake of visiting a long time friend and his wife last night. Iraq came up. He and his wife are very much against the war, as everyone should be, but in the conversation, he said "it made sense in the beginning because they did bomb us after all." My kidneys nearly failed while I sat there pissing myself. So I had to lecture him and his wife for twenty minutes, which was really me just juggling the words "cocksucker, bush, fucking, rumsfeld, oil". In the end, when I thought they fully understood, his wife said something like, "yeah, we'll probably never know why we're over there." GODDAMNIT!!! And now I understand how Bush was re-elected.

Wow it's like another day again…
I had bought a novel, Chimera by Will Shetterly, for reading at the beach but last night thought I would read a chapter or two and ended up reading over half the book late into the night until around 2 am this morning. It's been a long time since I've sat down and read a SciFi story and I had forgotten how enjoyable it is. Nothing really planned for today. Will probably just do a little work and spend the rest of the day relaxing. |

My T1 will be turned off for a while today. It is the annual Smith reunion day (guess millions are invited plus all the Jones.) Actually this one include 10 and spouses. However, three of them are Baptist preachers and one is a porn peddler. Porn peddler's health might prevent his attendance. Eat lots of watermelon today and stay safe. If you must drive, wear clean underwear.

morning/midday
i am feeling much better today (thanks for the gallions of green tea and a ton of asprine) my voice is back again (lucky hubby) i spent most of my day outside its very hot here and that will stay the same for the next days, my kids still refuse to get their ass in the pool which i bought because ....the water is to cold.....pffffffff kids are so much fun. This eve my daughter has again a big party and she is again nerveus like hell and her behaviour makes me going crazy, after the party she and all her friends will spent the night sleeping outside at one girlsfriend's house and she will be there tomorrow the whole day swimming, so its me and the hubby and my 9 year old son at home who will probaly watching the wc soccer games for today and wanna play soccer in the backyard. I am not hanging around and i wish you all a great day and weekend |
