I'v made my first free site a few days ago, and I'd really like to read some reviews/tips

1. You have a script on your site, the stats4u thing, this will get you declined EVERYWHERE... Absolutely NO scripts allowed on free sites.

2. you have no text what so ever on your warning page and very little on the rest of your pages. Sales texts are good both for making surfers click your links and for making search engines like your site.

3. I have been told that blue text on red background is a bad idea because it hurts your eyes, I personally can't see this since i am colorblind.

4. You have different titles on all your pages, personally I would make my site title the title of all pages, this is a must at some link lists, not at all. But the title You submit the site as MUST be on the warning page no matter what link list you submit to I think.

I agree with Xallow. Pick some different colors, write some more sales text, remove the scripting, and you got yourself a quality free site.

Hey guys, thanks for all the answers. These were my first freesites ever, and since then I have built a few new ones which I think are better.

I got rid of the script, I use more text links, I'm gonna work on the colors.
What else can I improve?
Any comments on the hub page?

The hub looks ok to me, only had a quick look at it, but it looks fine.

Both the latest free sites you put in here have similar problems.

1. The sites don't have a title, when submitting to link lists you have to give a title and that title has to be visible somewhere on your warning page.

2. On both warning pages You have blind links to the sponsor. When linking to a sponsor on a free site it has to be apparent to the surfer that he is leaving your site to go to that particular site you arelinking too.

3. on Your main and gallery pages You have 4 outgoing links, 3 to the sponsor and 1 to Your hub, the hub link counts as an outgoing aswell.

I am assuming that the versions you put up here are clean versions and you have other versions with recips.

Other than those things they look ok to me.

2. I thought it's obvious that when the surfer clicks somewhere else then "enter" he is leaving my site. Anyway I will change the links.
3. I'll make sure to change that

Of course, I use Chameleon submitter, and these are the clean pages.

That will get you declined most places. Auto submitting is a no-no with most LL's.

Hmm.. I get accepted in most of the places I sumbit to. It's just too much work and time to submit the sites manually to all the LLs

Once the good link lists find out that you are using an auto submitter You will be declined at them. You dont have to submit to 200 link lists, ofcourse You never know where the next sale will come from, but submitting to 40-60 link lists manually doesn't take more than 30 minutes once You get a routine going. I submit using notepad with the info I need for submitting (title, url, description) and I just click a link to the link list from the free site I am currently submitting to get to thrue them all.

Auto submitters are generally used for submitting to TGPs and MGPs since most of them dont mind it.

Ditto - I use a simple database to track where I've submitted to prevent duplication - then I copy and past the required data - add the auto form fill function of IE7 and I can submit to a bunch of LL's pretty darn quick.
