Tuesday 24th February - Anniversary of the day Mexico gains independence from Spain. Also the anniversary of the day (15 years later) that Mexicans launch an assault on the Alamo.
Hospital appointment this afternoon. It is also my Nephew's birthday. This means that I will spend most of the day trying to think of something to say to him. Usually our birthday conversations go like this:
Me: Happy Birthday! Nephew: Thank you. Me: Did you have a good birthday? Nephew: Yes Me: What did you get for your birthday? Nephew: (Lists presents.) Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... Me: Ummmmm...... Nephew: Ummmmm...... I heard that people have birthdays on this date so they are one day closer to death. :-/ No birthdays here. No declaring independence. No wars at the Alamo. Just a fucking leaking toilet that needs more than its flapper replaced. Doing a bit of work and then going to Home Depot to buy a Universal Flush Valve Repair Kit as replacing just the flapper didn't fix the leak. Hoping that my gym has fixed its spa as I really would like to soak in it for about an hour later this afternoon. |

 Just another day in the neighborhood or work. Wish I knew someone with a condo down south, I need to get away from this cold! (and conveniently I have 2 flight credits that need to be used by April 11th lol, or we lose them) |

Afternoon!
 Day 2 of The Jobless Fired Bitch being home. Things went well at the lawyer yesterday & we got her resume done, because her cousin works for a doctor & they have an opening  So she dropped that off this morning. Plus, it's kinda nice having my old sexretary home       Quote:
