What about a self-inflicted censorship?

As some of you perhaps know in Germany promoting any hardcore material is
due to protection of minors strictly prohibited. One mustn't even show genitals
too obvious, all free accessible media have to be garbled at the "hot spots" so
most webmasters already promote only softcore. Here's a little example of what
this looks like:

Hardcore is only available after identifying in so called face to face procedure.
Surfers willing to access hardcore-sites have to proof their identity and age
signing at post offices. This is very annoying and sure the reason why most sites
running on .de-domains quit business as German surfers can find free porn just
two clicks away.

But!
Wouldn't it help adult webmasters worldwide making more sales if we all garbled
our promo-material, a self-inflicted censorship? Imagine there is no more "free
pussy" on the net. People would sign up as hell, wouldn't they?
