Are blogs just another flavor of the month(s)?

Adult hosted blogs are nothing more than SE tools. They are Useless unless used properly in the grand scheme. With my 20/180 hind sight, the by-product of UW's excellent brain fart would have been one hi-quality blog as opposed to seven orphaned ones.

Oh yeah, all blogs are hosted and all the time invested is for a purpose. If Jim had AssPimpleBlog, I am sure he would not be writing it for his health and in order for it to be viewed the world's eyes I am reasonably sure Sparky would host it.
