I submit my first free site over a year ago. I didn't submit many FS's but enough to see who send me decent traffic. I have big plans for this year. So, I cheked my log files for entire 2006. I submit free sites to nearly 100 link lists. Many LL's send less then 15 (or didn't send any) visitors. To be honest, I submit less than 50 FS's last year, but... less than 15 visitors isn't much. My free sites are listed on some major LL (Link-o-rama, Penisbot, Jays-xxx-links, etc...). I'm still a newbie and don't know much, but I always read the rules and follow them (I hope ). Some of LL's from my list are probably dead, some of them are small, but some of them supposed to be good, with decent traffic. If you have any information about any of LL in my list, please let me know. For example: "AAA" is good, but you need to wait more than a year to be listed (like freepicssex). Or: "AAA" won't list your FS if you don't put their recip with "BBB" (like Penisbot and Wetplace in my case).

15 hits could still yield a sign up, and it doesn't cost you anything, so if you're getting listed regularly and there's no other issues why not keep on supporting the people sending you those free 15 visitors?

Todays small link list could be tomorrow's big link list, and loyalty goes a long long way.
Seems like this blacklist thing isn't the best idea, even if you're half-joking.


Hoes review within a couple of days. You'll know if you've been listed there.
FreesiteXXX, Virexy-Porn, & cfnmparty all review quite quickly - within a week or two I think.
Mark from Mark's Links reviews by categories, not date, so while he might be behind with some categories he's quite quick with reviews in others.
No traffic from these sites looks like you've been rejected.
All send very good traffic. Some send shit-loads of hits, but all of them send a nice amount.

FetishPhiles - behind on reviews, same as Debauchery.
I've heard nice things about them.

You aren't getting listed because you're links are blind, at least from what I can tell after two clicks of the first freesite you listed. In fact you may have a recip on there, I can't locate that first site on his list.

The first three of your samples have blind links...never would have made it past the warning page here.

Looks like you had cleaned up the blind links on the last site, but I'd suspect you may have already been internally blacklisted by some of those sites. Some of the other sites on your list appear to be doa from a submitters point of view.

Some of the others send great traffic, and are simply behind on reviews. If you hadn't been a dick with this thread, I'd probably be more willing to tell you which ones those are.

It's one thing to keep a list of who you will & won't submit to - hell, everyone does this.

But it's really bad to post a personal blacklist that is based solely on your opinion in public. Unless you really got screwed over by a LL for one reason or another, there's no need to bash them because you didn't get listed or the traffic was not what you expected it to be.

I think you lost some friends with this thread. Might be time to do some damage control.

Your list looks more of a list of WHO TO SUBMIT TO rather than WHO NOT TO submit to. Best of luck when you start blogging...no offense to the bloggers out there...

Besides not putting both feet in your mouth it would be wise when making a submit list to do some research in terms of traffic, backlinks and reputation before making a table. What is it with this freaking mentality that you have to submit to everyone and there brother? | There was a guy on here a week or two ago trying to organize his whole nation so that they could submit to 300 LLs. I am truly sorry if I insult you guys and I apologize for that. But, to be honest, I still don't see what is wrong with my post. Word "blacklist"? That's supposed to be a joke. I put smilie every time I mention that word. I used that word because that's every free site submitter's nightmare. I just wanted to attract your attention. And I did - in worst possible way. I guess I'm stupid (or naive). Maybe my joke was bad but is that a reason for wich-hunt? I was just wondering why few dosent of my FS's are good enough for LOR and Penisbot and NONE of them aren't good for Hoes and Debauchery (for example). I came here for help and advice.
Some of you said that my FS's are full of blind links. Is it so hard to say: "Samoseks, "this" and "that" is blind link. That's the reason why your site wasn't accepted". First I want to thank you for your friendly approach. I agree that 15 hits is much better than nothing.
I decide to make my submission list smaller because I spend to much time collecting and checking recips. Sometimes one set of promo pics fit to one category but another set fit to different category. I realize that I will have more visitors if I submit 100 sites to 30 biggest LL than submitting 30 sites to 100 LL's.

I have another list with LL who send me just few hits. I and I don't want to go public with that list. I was thinking that LL in my first post are dead (so no one care) or very big (in that case my opinion is irrelevant). I was asking you guys to tell me whick one is dead and which one is big. As simple as that. Obviously I was misunderstanded

There's never a way for me to not come off like an ass when I post something like this, but you might want to look into promoting sites to people that speak your native language until your English skills are just a tad bit better.

If a submitter is not getting listed or hits from certain lists there are some things you can actually do about it
- look at the sites you submit and see if any changes can be done
- email the webmaster and ask (in a nice way ofcourse) what's up
- post a link to one of the sites at GGJ for a review / pointers

You really need to analyze your sales and not just your traffic. A link list can send you 10000 hits and generate ZERO sales. Another link list could send you 100 hits and produce 2 sales.

I'll take quality traffic over quantity traffic every day.

People, especially small linklist owners, often say this, but I've never seen it in my stats.

When I analyse my sales, the pattern is clear. The linklists that send the most traffic also produce the most sales.

You might be able to legitimately make the "extra sales" argument about small link list traffic, but to say the traffic is better - that doesn't make logical sense and it has never been a pattern in my own stats.

You could say that's because I don't submit to a lot of little linklists, but I don't submit to a lot of little linklists because I've often analyzed my sales and I've clearly seen that most sales come from a limited number of linklists.

I say it doesn't make logical sense because (1) it's more likely for the bigger linklists to have taken better positions on serch terms for SE traffic and (2) the bigger linklists get the first tastes of traded traffic, by the time traded traffic reaches the little linklists it's been sold to several times already.

The "extra sales from small LL traffic" argument holds up, the "better sales from small LL traffic" doesn't, in my experience.

So, if a freesite submitter dares to use the holy word Blacklist, which only linklist owners are allowed to use, then he should be blacklisted, right?

I think the idea of a freesite submiters blacklist for linklists is a good one. It should be easily and publically available information - how fast a linklist reviews, how many sites are accepted, and how many linklists are too uptight to be worth subbing to.

The past few years, when every freesite submitter was guilty until proven innocent, and linklists went crypto and hid wether or not a site was accepted and why, haven't been a sustainable model for this business.
