Jim I share your disappointment with the Dem's.. it is sad how quick they are to talk smack and then cave to Bush's whims... pathetic
Bobc01 - I am surprised, I thought health care in the UK was pretty good. as for not voting because all politicians suck.... I just can't agree with that. I think it is defeatist, if more people used the power of their vote on a consistent basis I think things could get done. The founding fathers really set up a great system (except for the whole white land owner thing) and if it is used properly the populace has the real power. The problem is that Americans have become complacent and just accept what the Govt says. We have given up making our elected officials be responsible for their actions and votes. just my 2 cents spaz

Property prices, the average house is 7x the value of the average salary so if you're not on the housing ladder here then you probably will never be. I could go on and on but i think greenie and jim would charge me for the disk space. |
