I think it is defeatist, if more people used the power of their vote on a consistent basis I think things could get done. The founding fathers really set up a great system (except for the whole white land owner thing) and if it is used properly the populace has the real power. I know I will still vote. I always will...but this time, for who? The Democrats seem to do very well with non-binding resolutions but, not much else. It's sad to think but I don't think the country is ready for a Woman or a Black President. So, all that's left is Edwards/08

Heh heh I agree with you. I do however like Edwards and Obama.

I don't think Clinton is electable in a general election and I think Obama has a very unfortunate name to go along with him being black that will tend to make the general population scared of him.

That leaves Edwards and with all the hype about his $400 haircut it pretty much shows the maturity and intelligence of the media and 'golly gee whiz maw, I cun vote' crowd
