That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

![]() ![]() I tried to withdraw the remaining funds in my ePassporte *Wallet* this morning when I saw the latest message from SKNANB (posted earlier in this thread), but the ACH transfer to bank account was showing an error message and wouldn't complete. Good news is I just tried again and it went through, or at least the ePassporte website shows that it did and now my balance is reduced by the amount I transferred. My advice to anyone with money still in the Wallet (not on the Visa part of the account) is that you may want to withdraw all that you can as soon as you can in case things go completely tits-up in the next few days. I know it's not easy for those not in the USA to withdraw their funds, but if you're in the USA and can do an ACH transfer to your bank account this may be time to jump on this. ![]() 0101010011

Honestly, take the $100 I'm missing out of the equation & I could care less about the Visa thing. I'd be happy with a company that could accept money from sponsors that do not pay via check & then transfer it to my bank once a week for a $3 fee. |

My guess is that VISA is bowing to pressure from the U.S. Treasury and DOJ. There are other companies trying to step in and offer the same service but they too will suffer the same fate. I guess is that people may actually see their virtual VISA money but it may take months or years as every account is checked in detail to see whether it has ties to organized crime or the worse terrorism. I have no proof to offer but I this is my gut feel. |

I sent the stuff the 13th and havent got anything back yet ePassporte closely monitors all of our Accounts to comply with relevant governmental identity verification regulations. Your account has been flagged for additional identity verification as our records indicate that the CUMULATIVE amount of funds LOADED INTO your Account has reached or surpassed US$5,000.00 . To allow ePassporte to comply with these relevant regulations, you are required to provide current identity verification documents within 30 days of this notice. Please submit the following documents within 30 days: 1) A photocopy of a valid government-issued photo ID 2) A copy of a recent bank statement or a copy of a utility bill (i.e. phone, water or gas) which clearly displays your name and address as shown on your ePassporte Account. Please upload these verification documents by logging into your ePassporte Account and clicking on the "Upload Documents" link located on the left side navigation bar. You will then be given instructions for uploading the requested documents. We prefer that you scan and upload your documents through our website, as this method provides ePassporte with the most legible documents. Please ensure your scanned documents can be read clearly before submission, as incomplete or unclear documents will not be considered for review. Alternatively, you may submit these documents via e-mail to: BE ADVISED that the review of your documents may take up to 10 business days. Please take this into consideration when submitting your documents. If you fail to provide these documents within 30 days of this notice, your Account will be placed in "Receive Only" Mode wherein you will be unable to load funds to you Account, send Peer to Peer transfers or withdraw funds. You will only be able to receive transfers from ePassporte Business Accounts via Business to Peer transfers. Last edited by plateman; 2010-09-24 at 07:33 PM.. |

Plus being able to transfer money for PA's and other stuff is easy. Shit, they can raise the 30 cent transfer fee to a dollar to help offset their losses and I'd continue to use them as long as those places still take it. |

I know you have hard on for me, but I'm pretty much done with your wisdom and trivia due to your "downfall of America" prediction. That's right up there with the "second coming". Go back to defending epassporte.

For example, in his first term of office George W. started to fuck up the economy. Regardless of any other issues (including party loyalties) anyone who cared about America should have voted against him to save the country. However he spent the money on things that made him popular, and despite American economists screaming that this was a bad thing, most Americans stuck with their belief that America is indestructible, and voted him in for a second term. He fucked the economy some more, then the crash happened. The crash was not really his fault, but he had so "knife edged" the economy that it made it hard to pull America back from the brink. The fact that the crash hit America so badly is George W.'s fault, the fact that America has still not recovered from it is George W.'s fault, and the fact that you are tottering on the brink of a second dip is George W.'s fault. And it is the fault of the majority of Americans who refused to listen to the warnings from his first term of office because they thought America was indestructible, and voted him in a second time. And there is another big disaster looming - the mid terms. If most Americans vote with their hearts instead of their brains the impending "falling of the sky" I was talking about will become even more probable. Unfortunately, to save the country, the majority of voting Americans need to realise that America is not indestructible, and vote for what America needs, not for what they want. However most Americans have the same views as you "America is great, we don't have to worry", and that will push the country into disaster and decline. Remember what happened to the Roman empire, or more recently to the British empire. Both of those died because the Romans and British thought about their countries the same way you (and so many others) now think about America, and unless a hell of a lot of people have a rethink, America is going the same way as the Roman empire. And that is why I so often post things like those in my previous post. Hopefully some people will think about what I say, and convince others, and will save your country. I doubt it though. Most people are probably thinking "What the fuck has it got to do with that Brit. America is great, and we don't need no Limey telling us otherwise." Ironic isn't it? What will probably do for the USA in the end is patriotism. People need to learn that being patriotic does not just mean loving your country, it also means doing what is best for your country, even if it hurts you. Sitting back with a self satisfied "America is great" attitude and letting America go to hell in a handcart makes you about as patriotic as an Iraqi urinating on the Stars and Stripes. Remember that famous quote "Think not what your country can do for you, think only what you can do for your country." |

As far as something being "great", I'll leave that for all you self righteous fucks to judge. I'm fine with being bigger, badder and dirtier than most everyone else. |
