i think 2k is way to much for a script like that. I could have gotten it for you much cheaper.

A script is worth whatever the customer pays for it. But I don't think he paid $2K for one script, but for several scripts, to see which was best. However I do feel that for $2K he could have got some coder to write a script from scratch, so that it did exactly what he wanted, in the way he wanted it done. And would also be easy to adapt if he changed his mind, or wanted something slightly different on another site.

I think you are right. And yes a coder would be nice to have. The more expensive scripts are open source so you can get a coder afterwards to do to it whatever you need, which is ideal if you can afford one.

I didn't pay 2K for one script, but has actually bought 4 of them. There was some server issues with one, requiring me to change OS on the server, which I didnt want to. Another didn't support mobile, and the third had a rotten backend.

I have actually chosen Mechbunny, which costs $1300, so that's the biggest part of the spend.

I have the site setup, and am waiting for a design for it. I am, as I wrote, quite new to tube sites, so I wouldn't know what to want from a custom script, and I think this was the best solution for me.

One thing that convinced me, was that support normally took 2-3 days from the other scripts, but Konrad from Mechbunny never seem to sleep.
