This is not due to the different amounts of alcohol in different beers, some of the "bad" ones were lower than the "good" ones. I'm told it is probably due to what additives each beer uses.

Back when I drank heavily, I had the exact same problem. Certain beers would just kill me the next day, where others were not nearly as bad.
