You open the bank's app on your phone. It has you take a picture of the front and back of the check and asks which account to deposit it to. They ask you to hold onto the check for two weeks in case there is a issue but I've never had one.

Oh checks, I thought you meant cash. That would not be much use over here very few people use checks anymore in England, we tend to use debit cards instead.
