Good morning world
![]() Glad to hear you're back to ![]() ![]() I'm typing this standing up, since I got a wild hair last night ![]() The pic below shows my first attempt. Old roll-around sit-down desk that already had a higher desktop on one side. Turned it around to make that side the front. Stacked eight thin but large format art books to raise the monitor. Six murder mysteries to raise the keyboard. One large fishing reference book under the mouse pad. MacBook Pro is second screen. Cell phone holder and place for coffee mug and tv/audio remote. Did a lot of bending and crawling to get everything hooked up last night, so it'll be a few days before I know how it feels without any residual aches and pains. So far I know there needs to be a nice padded something under my bare feet. And I do sit down for phone calls, some texts, paper note making. Wishing a good day to all. ![]() P.S. Bonus points if you spotted the bungee cord plus thin rope tie-downs to keep the monitor from being able to fall backwards.

Good Day
![]() Behind already and I need a nap. Many errands and stuff to do with family celebrations this weekend. Looking forward to when all this holiday stuff is over, thou I do enjoy seeing family I rarely see. Wife picked up a padded floor mat from BB&B that goes in front of the sink for my feet when doing an hours worth of Sunday night dinner dishes that would probably work. Bar stool or similar height office chair works great with stand up desk. Makes it easy for a quick rest of the feet/break from standing so you can bounce back and forth. |
