I've used Verotel for several years, even had them sending money to a bank account in Mexico for awhile. You can get started on their free account.
Sheepguy is telling you right running a pay site is a good way to lose money if you don't know what your doing. On a side note, what Country are you in?

I'm in Peru, South America. That's one reason I didn't go with CCBill, I think they only provide to US based merchants.

So if you go Verotel you will be the only person promoting your site, so you have to have a way of generating traffic to the site. I would strongly recommend that you become an affiliate of a program first and learn how to generate traffic as an affiliate before you invest in a pay site

I'm sorry but what exactly is an affiliate in this sense and how does CCBill promote your site?
Frankly I have been more worried about finding a good merchant service and I don't know anything about sending traffic to my site or buying traffic what ever that's all about. I figured I could just network with other sites that provide similar content and exchange banners and also network with blogs who provide free content and get our site mentioned on there and so forth. What I first meant to say about CCBill is that when you fill out the application they only have "United States" as a choice for your country of origin? |

You really would do best to spend a year or two promoting other paysites. A great way for new adult webmasters to get started is blogging and creating free sites. If you don't know what any of this is, then just slow down and take the time to learn it. It takes time but the resources to learn are all around you here and other places. I wish I had started with more knowledge a few years back when we started with our paysites, we would have started much better than we did. Not that we did bad, but you can always do better. Its a lot of work. |
