I remember (yeah yeah, parents told me, I don't like to remember my childhood or lack thereof) that when I was young, I couldn't sleep on Christmas Eve, and would wake up super-early on Christmas morning to open presents.

Does the anticipation of opening the gifts on Christmas Eve just move your kid's expectations and sleep deprivation to Christmas Eve's Eve?
